Thierry Henry believes Robert Pires is starting to show signs of his fabulous form from last season.
Roberts silky skills secured two Player of the Season awards before he injured cruciate knee ligaments on March 23.
He is still easing himself back into football after seven months out but Saturday saw Pires start his first Premiership game since the injury, and he popped up with the first goal.
The scorer of the other two in our 3-1 win against Aston Villa noticed the contribution.
"When you have an operation and you come back, the quality is still there," Henry told Arsenal.com. "All Robert was missing was time in the games.
"It won't be the last game like this - the next game he'll be more into it, and the next one even more into it. Give him time and don't put pressure on him."
Henry expanded upon Pires' special contibution to the team.
"It's the way he passes and the way he keeps the ball," said the striker.
