11/30/02 Pires scored a goal! Arsenal won 3-1! Pires started in Arsenal match against Aston Villa in Highbury.Pires tucked away a glorious goal in the 17th minute following Dennis Bergkamp's perceptive pass. Wenger on Pires: "He is getting strong and stronger. He tired a bit in final part of the game."
11/23/02 Pires scored a goal! Arsenal lost 3-2 Arsenal lost to Southampton 3-2 in St Mary's Stadium. Pires came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute. 7 minutes later Pires saw his initial header saved by Niemi the goal keeper, but he converted to rebound and scored his premiere premiership goal this season.
11/16/02 Arsenal- Tottenham 3-0! Robert Pires came in as a substitute in the 26 minute, he replaced Dennis Bergkamp. Robert Pires was everywhere in the field, he was fantastic. Pires was really determined to score, he didn't score but he fed Wiltord the 3rd goal: Pires' pass found Henry running into the ares. Keller rushed out to block but the ball fell to Pires just outside the area. Rather than shoot he spotted Wiltord unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box. Wiltord gave Arsenal the 3rd goal!
11/6/02- PIRES SCORED HIS 1ST PL GOAL! Robert Pires scored his first Premier League goal this season! Pires' goal came when Kolo Toure was fouled near the left-hand byline. Van Bronckhorst took the free-kick and laid the ball back to Pires just outside the area. Pires' side-footed drive arrowed into the net via the fingertips of Sunderland keeper Jurgen Macho.

10/22/2002 Robert Pires is back!!!!!!Robert Pires is back into business, he played in Arsenal's match against Auxerre. He began on the bench and Wenger introduced Pires at the 72nd minute to rapturous applause. Pires played 19 minutes and even tested Fabian Cool (Auxerre's goal keeper) with a 25-yard drive before the end. The keeper dropped it but clutched it at the second attempt
10/15/2002 Robert Pires scored a goal in a friendly match against Queens Park Rangers at the Arsenal Training Centre!!! He played 90 minutes (!) and scored a goal 15 minutes into the second half. Also he controled the ball very well and threaten QPR's goal several times. 28 years old Robert Pires said : "I'm very happy to return and to play a whole game. I've been missing for 6 months and it's a very long time so it's a very special day for me".
9/21/2002 Robert Pires is already back in training. His surgery was on April 25th and the recovery takes 6 months so Pires is expected to fully recover at October 25th.
